Jaboticaba - the Brazillian tree grape, or botanically known as Plinia cauliflora is a fruit originally from South America that piques the imagination. These little tree grapes grow directly out of the trunks and branches of the tree, making it look like a tree full of marbles stuck all over!
Now we have some awesome Queensland grown Jaboticaba. The fruit in itself is much like a normal grape. The skin is thick but edible, similar to the Concord or Kyoho, yet some prefer not to eat the skin. Whilst the Jaboticaba flesh's taste and texture can be sweet or tart, and aromatic.
Grown in Australia.
