Pandan leaves are used extensively in Southeast Asian cuisine - in desserts and savoury dishes such as cakes, kuih, sweets, dessert soup, curries, chicken rice and more. It is used as an aromatic and natural flavouring.
Taking care of a pandan plant in Sydney winter will require a greenhouse or placed in a suitable warm indoor spot.
