The 2023 Malaysian durian season has begun! We have access to flying in FRESH chilled Malaysian Musang King durian pulp air-flown direct from the Newleaf Plantation in Raub, Pahang.

Please note that our business model is all about pre-orders to avoid/reduce waste of these expensive fruits to zero or a very minimum. This is why we run this fresh air-flown durians from Malaysia as a PRE-ORDER only.

Fresh tree-dropped Malaysian durians have a shorter shelf life, and it is best enjoyed as soon as it arrives in Sydney - not sitting on a grocery store shelf.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT DELIVERY DATES MUST BE FLEXIBLE AS WE ARE SUBJECT TO CARGO FLIGHT DELAYS AND CUSTOMS/QUARANTINE CHANGES.

Flown direct via KUL, each 400g punnet of Musang King D197 may contain approx 3 to 5 pieces of FRESH chilled arils/pulp with seed imported from Malaysia. These fresh chilled durian segments are packed to order and air-flown to Sydney within 24-72 hours.

ABOUT FRESH D197 MUSANG KING

Air-flown direct from Raub, Pahang in Malaysia, this fresh Musang King D197 has a thick, golden yellow flesh, a sticky creamy texture with a combination of both bitter and sweet (sometimes even more bittersweet) taste. Its fleshy pulp and usually abnormal small aborted seeds are highly regarded by Malaysian durian fans whom many tout as the king of kings.

The most commercially sought after and export durian, it is known for its thick, full-bodied creamy and sweet tasting flesh that has moderately pungent aroma. It usually has many abnormal small, shrunken (aborted) seeds, hence its plump pillowy, fibrous flesh.

WARNING: PLEASE BE AWARE FRESH AIR-FLOWN CHILLED MUSANG KING WILL BE STRONGER IN AROMA & TASTE MORE PUNGENT. This product _could_ potentially more bittersweet than frozen. We will NOT accept requests for exchange/refund due to complaints regarding taste high/low bitterness levels - as this is expected of Malaysian durians. Any fruit will be naturally inconsistent.
