These are Kampung or seedling durians growing in a Far North Queensland farm for over 30-40 years. Its new owner has earnestly cleaned up this durian grove, that has been neglected the last 8 years.
Its previous owner was an avid collector of rare fruits, and various types of durians from his travels through Southeast Asia back in the 1980s. Australian quarantine laws at the time were relaxed due to wanting to encourage a tropical fruit industry.
The selection of fresh durians from this farm will be of various tastes. Some may be sweet, some may be creamy, some may be bittersweet. Some may be pungent, some may not be. Some may be watery, some may be crisp, some may be “bland”. It’s a lucky dip of what you’ll get.
While we control the freshness and quality of durians we sell, we cannot guarantee the type of seedling you’ll receive. So please treat each durian as a taste experience of Australian-grown fresh durians.
NO REFUNDS OR REPLACEMENTS WILL BE ENTERTAINED DUE TO PERSONAL DISLIKE OF ITS TASTE. PLEASE REFER TO RETURNS POLICY.
